Laknavaram Lake

The Laknavaram lake is a picturesque natural attraction, formed by the convergence of three narrow valleys. The rulers of the Kakatiya dynasty, who reigned in the 13th century, constructed bunds (embankments) in place of the valleys, with the surrounding hills acting as natural barriers.

The lake, initially developed for irrigation purposes, now offers a serene and tranquil environment for visitors. Its secluded location adds to its appeal, providing a sense of privacy and solitude during your visit. The surroundings of Lakhnavaram Lake are characterized by lush green crops and abundant water resources .The lake itself is a hidden gem nestled amidst the hills. 

One of the notable attractions at Lakhnavaram Lake is the suspension bridge. This hanging bridge allows visitors to access a mini island located within the lake. 

Additionally, the lake offer boat riding facilities including kayaking and rafting. There’s also cycling , camping and hiking offered by the tourism department.
