Description
Various legends about the name of Laad Bazar include that it was set up by Mohammad Quli Qutb Shah as a shopping destination for the wedding of his daughter, Laad (affectionate one) was his term of endearment for her. It is alternatively said that the market was initially called “Lord’s Bazaar” which later changed to Laad Bazar.
