Location
The temple is located on the banks of Godavari atop a hill in Gudem or Gudem Gutta . It is 30km from Mancherial and 61km from Karimnagar.



Description
On the banks of the sacred Godavari River the Satyanarayana Swami Temple, dedicated to Sri Satyanarayana Swamy also revered as the God of truth is located.
In 1964, Govardana Perumalu, a residet of Gudem, discovered achika prathimalu (idols) of Lord Satya Narayana Swamy on the Ratnapu hills. With the assistance of devoted individuals in Gudem, they constructed this temple. Since then, devotees from the area have been offering their prayers at this sacred site.
Often referred to as the “Annavaram of Telangana,” the Gudem temple experiences a surge in pilgrim footfall during the Karthika Masam, which falls in the English months of October and November. Many devotees observe the ‘Satya Narayana Vratham,’ a special puja that signifies their devotion and the Lord’s significance.
Existing Condition
The Temple is a popular pilgrimage site it is maintained by the Temple’s Trust.
