Location
Gollatha Temple is in Jadcherla Mandal of Mahabubnagar District. Alvanpalli (Gollathagudi) village is located about 10 km from Jadcherla town and nearly 30 km from the district headquarters of Mahabubnagar.

Description
This is a rare brick temple that dates back to the 7th-8th century AD. It is also known as the Ruins Brick Temple of the Jainism faith, which has retained its architectural features and stucco decorations. The stucco figurines discovered during the excavations exhibit the continuation of the lime plastic art of the Amaravathi School.
The excavations near the settlement at Gollathagudi have brought to light Jainism vestiges, as well as Hindu temple remnants that belong to early medieval times. Jainism sculptures such as Mahaveera, Parsvanatha, and other objects were moved to the District Museum in Pillalamarri, Mahabubnagar, and the State Museum in Hyderabad for preservation.
